Booked
« on: May 11, 2007, 06:13:39 PM »
I know this may seem a bit strange on your side of the pond, we have just booked flights to Malaga for Sept  08, I couldn't believe that Jet2 have got the timetable out 16 months in advance, cost of the flights £80pp return, £35 of that is taxes and airport charges £25 to the UK £10 to Spain, all I have to do now is find a decent deal for Cuba next May

Garin
Here's a thought for you. Take a cheap flight to Toronto (aka...The Centre of the Universe), Enjoy a couple of days of Canadian hospitality.. :moj: :wi: :occasion14:... Then book your flight to Cuba from Toronto .. Usually  prices drop the end of May,,, early June is very reasonable in Cuba from TO!!! I'm sure there would be more than enough offers for accommodations and BBQ's that you would require at least 2 weeks in Canada :sunny:......and only a week in Cuba!! :cuflag:

F&T excellent suggestion!!!

Garin knows that they have an open invitation with us, but we just need to convince SWMBO.

I'll have to work on both of you when we're over there.

We arrive in the UK on Wed morning (16th ) and I think we'll be heading south on the Friday, stopping at Lockerbie for a few days and then heading down to Lancashire to visit an old auntie.  So let us know when you're going to be about and we'll arrange to meet up.

Cheers guys it will happen one day, in the next few years I will be changing jobs and will probably take some time out inbetween, this would be the ideal time to visit Canada and fly south from there thanks F&T for the excellent suggestion   :icon_thumright: there are to many places to visit and so little vacation time. We want to do a couple of more trips to Cuba before things change, we did have a chat with a couple of people about their hopes and fears for the future

Let us know when you are in Lancs and we will sort something out, I am pretty well limited to weekends due to my work pattern but I can normally blag a early finish on Fridays, there is also the possibility of us traveling up north one weekend
