E-Mail requests

How far in advance is the best time to make a request ? and how much detail do you have to give the resort ??  What I mean is ...is our booking reference number going to match their details ? ...Its just that we've changed the booking from 1 room for 3 people to 2 rooms of 2 each  so I would like us to be next door to each other and preferably 2nd floor ..so  please

Oh and its the Playa Pesquero  but not till October ..so I know now is wayyyy too early lol

We did it a coupe of week in advance, stating our name and travel company, they replied within 24 hours saying that they would take our request into consideration, we did get the room we wanted 2nd floor with corner balcony in the area we had requested near the beach

More often than not, e-mail messages are either not received or not replied to.  If you're sending e-mail, do not expect a response.  If you get one, you're a lucky SOB.  :)

I sent two to the PCV and got a reply within 24 hours on  both occasions, they did take our request into consideration which I wasn't really expecting

I sent our email to the PCV about two weeks before departure, with only our names, and arrival date, (and mentioned that we were return guests)  and got the Exact Room, that I asked for.

We are returning to the Playa Costa Verde for the 3rd time, on January 10, 2006, and I was wondering if I could ask a favour?
 
I know how room requests, can be difficult, but if possible, my wife would really like a 2nd floor room. 
 
Building 2800 would be great, but Any building will be fine!
