Toronto - All passengers and crew members are safe after a bumpy landing at Pearson International Airport Sunday afternoon.

The Air Canada Jazz jet was flying in from Moncton, New Brunswick, when a landing gear of the plane collapsed as it touched down at Pearson Airport's runway six.

Peel Police Constable Adam Minnion said police received a call for assistance when the plane landed.

"The plane did come to a stop; there were 37 passengers on board and 3 crew members, (they) were all treated and released." Minnion said.

All 37 passengers and 3 crew members were not injured.

The aircraft was parked on a nearby taxiway and will be taken away on a flatbed truck for further investigation
