Cozumel Diving
« on: July 12, 2007, 08:04:40 PM »
It's time to dust off the regs and the wet suit once again.

I've never dove Cozumel, but I'm looking forward to trying the drift diving.

Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things you didn't do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.

that's quite an accomplishment in a year.

I would be most grateful for any tips as to how to reach the same levels.

I hear that some people are hooked on Cozumel after only one visit, and wish to return permanently.

I wonder what is involved in living and working there?   :shark:

Wouldn't it be fantastic to wake up every morning and look out your window to see the ocean and know that going to work involves putting on your scuba gear?

Getting up in the morning for work wouldn't be as difficult in that situation now, would it?

If the weather cooperates we should have a new member of the 7 Days Dive Team when we return.

gosh Heather, don't hex me  *scared*

I still have those 4 dives to get through and hopefully the weather will co-operate with us at least long enough for me to get underwater 2 times a day for 2 days
I really don't care if the "kids" are entertained or busy enough, dammit, I just want to get my 4 dives in

Not a hurricane in sight

Divers still dive in the rain, it's not as if we're going to get wet

I'm hoping to get at least 5 dives in during the week.

Wendy, you do know there is an initiation process   :idea1:, but that will have to wait until Gambitt comes diving with us.

not to worry ladies, the only time that the won't take us out is if the waves are over 3 meters, or there's lightning, other than that, it's fair game.  Bobbing around on the surface, waiting for the boat to pick you up while you're being pelted by rain is an interesting experience, right Gambitt?

I'm looking to get at least 21 dives in that week.  it will be a busy week, I'd better book another week off just to recover from the vacation.   :laughing7:
