Adobe Photoshop Elements 5.0

I need help Steve or anyone who know this program...

I just purchased this program today and I'm trying to do one thing..

I have a picture with with a picture of my Nephew in it, but there is also another child in the back ground, so I'm trying to cut this child out
of the picture with changing the look of the photo...

Any help would be GRATEFULLY Appreciated  :notworthy: :respect: :notworthy:

Taking people "out" of a photo is one of the hardest things to do. Why....? Well because when you remove the person, there is no background behind them. So you have to find a way to "rebuild" the background without it showing. In Photoshop CS, what I do is Clone an identical or like area into the space where the unwanted person is located. But you've got to hope that you have an area that is suitable for cloning from. Even if you've got a small area to clone from, you can clone it multiple times and then blend the areas together to make the whole.
