Password protecting Portable Hard Drives?

Does anyone know of a good password protection program you can buy/download to put on portable hard drives or jump drives?  I know some come with them but I have a few older portable drives that don't.  Thanks.

Off the top of my head, have a look at bitlocker, it is more encryption though, but achieves the same effect.

I would also check the website for the manufacturer of the device. They usually have or reccomend something.

Yes, it is still an issue.  I haven't done anything about it yet.  Thanks for the links.  I'll look into them.
