Air Transat Weight Allowance

Free allowance on Air Transat ranges from 20 kg (44 lb.) to 50 kg (110 lb.) total per passenger in Economy Class depending on the destination (see details in the Baggage grid, under the "Checked Baggage" section) and 40 kg (88 lb.) in Club Class for most of the destinations.

Starting September 9, 2008, if you exceed your free baggage allowance, excess baggage fees will be $20 CA per kilogram each way for all destinations.

$20.00 now that is highway robbery  :nono:

It use to be 10.00 I think... and the TAXES went up 100 to cover the extra cost in fuel...
