I've heard that some airlines are now checking the weight of carry-ons.  Anyone else heard this or experienced it??

I've had my carry on weighed a few times with different airlines, and always with Air Canada.

Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things you didn't do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.

Mine was only weighed once, and after I explained that I was "just following their rules" and putting my regs in my carry-on, instead of checked luggage, it was passed with no problem.
