« on: April 26, 2008, 04:44:37 AM »
It's not often that we get a taste of Cuba in the UK, the Havana Rakatan is touring the UK and is in Manchester in May  :icon_thumright:

We have just had our taste of Cuba for this year, the Havana Rakatan was excellent a mixture of dance, music and comedy, the band really made the show with the Cuban ability of not being able to stay still around music and being just a little bit mad, the trumpet player hit notes that shouldn't be possible, at the end they got everybody on their feet dancing in the aisles, due to the lack of mint we are now enjoying a couple of Cuba Libre's to round the night off

Good to hear that you made it and that it was enjoyable

When's your next trip to Cuba?

Not sure we are going to try for October next year or maybe the following spring, the prices are not that good now the big four travel companies have merged into two

I don't think we're going to see good prices for anywhere next year.

With all the fuel surcharges, the day of the last minute cheap deal is gone.

But you guys always get the better deals booking well ahead of time anyway.
