To me it doesn't look big enough for inner transportation like golf carts, been to a few where you really
needed then but after looking at the map I'm not sure if this would be one  :dontknow:

Like I said I'm going to wait to email to ask for a free upgrade to a suite with private butler

Can't be any worse than lugging it from the PCV, all the way over past the Blau!

But you're right about changing rooms if it becomes nessesary.
If at first, you do not succeed; You Obviously did Not use a BIG enough Hammer!!!
If at first, you Do Succeed.. try not to look tooo Astonished!

If you are staying at what was Brisas Del Caribe... you will want to stay in the older holtel section, it's quite a little walk from the South Section, we stayed there two years in a row and the first year we were put in the room farthest from the beach, we quickly changed rooms the next day... and the following year requested the same room.. and it was a ground floor room but was quite adequate, the only interesting thing was the number of cockroaches in the hallways each morning.. I didn't bother me but some people might not like them.. food was OK too

If you know what you want then book it yourself, but if you unsure  :duh: the TA may be able to help
you with your choices  :dontknow:

Jammy,

do you have a short list of resorts, or one in particular?  and what dates are you looking at?

I will usually go into a travel agent if I have special requests, or require a certain amount of rooms close together etc.

A travel agent can't guarantee your requests, but she can usually get on the phone and get some answers for you before you book.

If you're just looking for a straight forward deal, then book online.
Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things you didn't do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.

Jammie
As others have said, there is no longer any real $ benefit with booking on-line (some exceptions may apply)(used our last $100 voucher from SellOff on our last trip, price match)
Do your research on line, but there are certainly advantages to booking with a TA that you are comfortable with!! Eg. We often book on line but it so happened when Tracie had an accident in Cuba we booked with our friendly T/A.
When I phoned her from Cuba she arranged to have all of our travel info sent to the insurance company, told us how many seats were available on the aircraft (we needed extra) and arranged wheel chairs at home!! The question is..Can you do that ..On-Line????
..... Didn't think So!!! Call Janet @ 1-705-324-9181 especially if you are flying with Air Transat!! Tell her Fred & Tracie sent you!! She will look after you!!!

Im thinking either the Xcaret or the Catalonia Yucatan Beach  (or colonial?) in February for a week, taking into consideration my mother's mobility issues.  They are both in the Mayan Riviera
