What day do the Selloff Sites change their prices?
« on: December 31, 2008, 05:54:39 PM »
I know that I'm not the only one that scours the sell off sites pretty much daily.

Does anybody know what day they change their prices?  I thought it was Tuesdays, but I haven't seen them change yet?   :dontknow:

I'm sure that Mo-miss has the answer to this.

Sorry Heather,   Can't help you with that one.

That_Woman booked this one on her own, so I just "went with the flow".

Bulldog, that's usually what happens to me as well.  Either that or I wait and wait and then it's gone   :sad1:

You got a good deal and it went UP the day after you booked.   :icon_thumright:

Maybe pick a date for a decision, then get the best deal you can on that date and don't look back

I shouldn't have looked as it could have been bad news, it's like a scab  :nono:  don't pick it

Again good luck  :notworthy:

I've looked at flights and there are some cheap ones to Jamaica, but when you add in the hotel it costs more than a package price.  We only have 3 nights with Sandals so we would need to book somewhere else for the extra nights.

I checked this AM and it appears the prices are down today, maybe they do it on Saturdays now.  The resort we booked was close to $800+ yesterday, and today it's down to under $700.  Glad I booked at $625.

Have you heard if you're getting adjoining rooms yet?  I think Gambitt said that he emailed somebody.

I think the Family rooms and adjoining rooms are in the South section, which is the newest section farthest from the beach.

Bulldog, stop picking at the Scab

Not a word...

I haven't got anything saying the email was undelivered, so all we can do is hope.  :dontknow:

You might be in luck and the resort won't be full.  If occupancy is low I'm sure they'll move you guys around to accomodate your needs.

You might not get the rooms you want when you arrive, but they can usually do something next day.

Last Jan when we went away with all the kids, we had to wait a day and then they moved us all into the new section of the resort and gave us adjoining rooms.

How big is the resort?  Is it a long walk to the beach from the South side?  Where is the dive shop?  I guess it's better to wait until you get there and then decide where you want the rooms?

It looks like a big resort, do they have golf carts to move the people around?

Gambitt, you don't want to be lugging your dive gear from the South end to the beach.
