Holguin Excursions
« on: May 09, 2005, 07:26:00 AM »
ok,
here I go with the questions and I only have a week to find the answers.

We're going to Playa Pesquero, what excursions are offered from there?

We would love to do the catameran if it's offered, does anybody know how much it is?

Tours of the town and local villages?  Is it offered , is it full day or half day and how much?

Is there local flea markets for shopping or does that involve a trip into town?

 Any suggestions would be welcome.

 Thanks,
 Heather

I'm not really sure on prices (if I wanted to go, I didn't care), but there is a market, with local sellers, right at the PP, on the main drag, thru the resort.  There is also a tram for 5CUC return, into the village of Guardalavaca, which takes you to a great craft market.

Yes, the catamaran is available thru the PP, as well as several different tours, to local villages, and cigar factories/sugar mills/ rum distillers...  You can take your pick!
If at first, you do not succeed; You Obviously did Not use a BIG enough Hammer!!!

At PP they have a boulevard with a flea market.  Great things to be had there!  It's right across from the ice cream parlour (yummy).

click on 'tours' for prices in Cuc's, unfortunately the tour descriptions are in spanish...
