I too have dined on lobster in Cuba but it is nothing like Atlantic Lobster. The Atlantic Lobster or cold water as stated earlier in this thread, I find, is much sweeter tasting. Also the lobster in Cuba is quite different not only in taste, but also appearance. These lobsters do not have any claws, like the Atlantic lobster do. I know that I have a picture of the lobsters we had on the fishing boat (on this site), and you can see there are no claws.
I like the different tastes, but my preference is the Atlantic lobster.
Tried something new while in Vancouver last week - raw Oysters on the half shell. Pretty darn fine - especially with the wine!
