That's great Shine!  The more, the merrier.  I wrote a post too that seems to have gotten lost...when Sunluvr mentioned Cayo Santa Maria it tweaked something in my brain about the spa at the Melia. By the spring, it should be done and we could indulge. It is going to be beautiful...

You guys need to organize this, I'm lost with all these posts.

You're right Heather, this will need to be more organized once the time comes closer.  I think for now the project is mostly the result of a spontaneous and general discussion about the potential fun factor of a girls week away in Cuba.  We are thinking about the spring but that's about the only planning done so far.  No dates or destinations have been isolated yet.

Well I could be in for a November trip and I could be in for an April trip (assuming its AFTER April 1-2 as that's our last weekend of racing).

Okay, I'll get the discussion going again by suggesting we try Sol Cayo Guillermo for our spring trip.

 Any other suggestions?

Absolutely beautiful place, too isolated though JMHO, I can remember both times we've been to Cayo Guillermo saying that as beautiful as it is, its nots the REAL Cuba.

I would think somewhere either Jibacoa (close to Havana AND Varadero) OR Holguin ...

Good going LauraT, let's get this one going again. I can't do anything until spring time and I would love to go to Cayo Guillermo, Cayo Coco or that area.  Having said that, I would be open to other places too.  I think we should keep our options open and head where we can get the best deal.

Why don't we start a separate thread for this discussion alone and try to get a sense of timing and people's area of preference?
