Bubba Keg Mug-On Sale
« on: November 23, 2005, 05:16:00 PM »
I was just looking at the Canadian Tire flyer and I noticed that these 52 oz. mugs are on sale for half price for $9.99. Thought I'd mention it as I've noticed that people like to take them on vacation. I'd probably use one for water at the beach. I imagine they'd make good gifts too. Sale dated Fri. Nov. 25-to Thurs. Dec.1 .  :1:
000 Scotland,  England and Mediterranean  Cruise
 2002 Varadero Riu Tuerqesa
2003 Mayan Riviera Iberostar Paraiso Lindo
 2005 Iberostar Varadero

I just checked my flyer and they're not on sale here in Nova Scotia. Newfiegal were they on sale in NF or the regular price. Maybe they will be on sale here next week. I'll keep my eyes open.

Thanks Cresfrield, I was at my friends house yesterday when she got her flyers. I grabbed the Cdn Tire one to have a look and there is was. As luck would have it, I'll traveling solo tomorrow. It is the first day of lobster season, tomorrow is lobster trap setting out day and hubby will be helping out our friend. I hope they have some left when I get there. If not, I'll ask them to check the other locations for me.

You could probably get a rain-cheque (sp?) Canadian Tire is usually pretty good with giving them out for sale items that they've sold out of.

Well I picked up two more.  Lime Green and an Orange one - we'll be leaving these at PP next March.  We also have a more normal coloured ones too (Blue and Red) for around home.

I guess we'll be known as the couple that have the Bright Lime Green and Orange mugs!!!

I got mine, it's the blue trimmed one. There were 41 in stock. I'm going to use mine for ice water.

We just returned Sunday night from Cayo Guillermo.  I had bought insulated mugs (approx.20 oz)for our trip last Feb. and we took them along with us again.  I cannot stress enough that such mugs are a MUST.  I brought two more that we gave to gardeners who were very pleased.

We saw a few people at the resort with insulated mugs but the great majority made due with those tiny little glasses. We would get these envious looks when we went up for a refill. I'm sure a lot of people will add them to their packing list for their next trip.
