Review and Photos Sol Club Cayo Guillermo
« on: April 30, 2006, 12:40:00 PM »
I've added some photos of the Sol Cayo Guillermo, but they're not very good quality.  I was having trouble with my camera all week.

Also a short resort review is up too.

Some great pics there heather. As I mentioned, I lost a digi card with the airport shots, our walk down to the Iberostar and the first couple of days, so most of my resort/room shots are gone. Didn't bother replacing them. But now after seeing yours am regretting not doing so  :(

I'm loading some pics now, so I'll add to your photos.

:)  Thanks for getting those pictures up so soon.  This looks like yet another great place to go in Cuba.

Milli, the beach was fantastic.  The pictures don't do it justice.

The Sol has the best stretch of beach, nice sand and clear water.  Further along near the Melia and Daquiri it's more seaweed.

We really lucked out with that beach, and to have an oceanfront room was great too.

Okay, finally got the pics loaded. Unfortunately most of my resort shots were on the misplaced/lost digi card   :(
So these are mostly "fun" shots.

WOW mo-miss, your "Airborne" shots are  FANTASTIC !  The only airborne shots I usually see are from an airplane.  (Mine...of Miami at night...and they all look the same).

 Abel's a bit of a hunk too!  :D

What did you think of the Tryp?

Great photos mo-miss.  All the pics I've seen really show what a great time you all had.  :p

Great photos Wendy

Millybess, we really did have a great time, and I'm sure that it will be a long time before the memories fade.     :D

Millybess, it wasn't too much of a hardship (no pun intended) to float around in the air on Abel's lap  :rof:   :rof:   :rof:
Seriously though, you are in your own "seat" not directly in his lap  :rof:   :rof:

More excellent pics, thanks for posting them Wendy ... the aerial are phenomenal, was a blast, wasn't it ... hope you enjoyed it though without having to keep snapping ... wasn't the silence of being up there just too cool?

Really, really, really makes me want to go back to my favourite beach ... keep us all posted if you're planning this as an annual event, I'd be in next time for sure, maybe I could get us all a good deal by then   ;)

:7:  Great pics Wendy.  I almost felt like I was there.  When you see all the smiling faces, the turquoise water, mojitos, white sand, mojitos,  blue, blue sky and beautiful lush vegetation don't you just want to check out the sell offs and head back!   :7:

Oh Wendy! Those were some great photos! I really get a sense that you all had a whole lot of fun!
Like Shine said, let us know if this is an annual trip...I'd definitely consider it!
