Cuban coast guard kills suspected migrant smuggler

HAVANA, Cuba (AP) -- Cuban coast guard officials fatally shot a suspected migrant smuggler aboard a U.S.-registered speed boat and rounded up 39 would be migrants waiting on shore in an incident Fidel Castro's government blamed Thursday on U.S. policies toward the island.
