:)  Oh, I guess if you worked in the oil industry the qualifications would make a lot of sense!  When we were staying at the Melia LA we were told that workers from the off shore rigs often stayed there on their down time.

I see many of us would have one of the qualifications: A valid Canadian passport and be able to travel to Cuba.  :7:

No idea what it is, but I'm sure I'm not qualified.     :D

There must be jobs for Canadians in Cuba, a co worker's husband works for Labatt and they wanted to send him to Havana.
Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things you didn't do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.

There is a Canadian who manages the brewery in Holguin for Labatt where they brew Cristal, Mayabe and Bucanero in a joint venture, presumably with the Cuban government.

He and his wife stay at the PCV.

yep, flygt would know best as he works on rigs, in my limited knowledge of the oil industry, they are looking for someone to work a rig as a tool push, with experience in fishing bits from holes,

basically, he would be incharge of anything that goes in the hole as they are drilling,[bits, liners, drilling fluids to cool the bit] and if they loose a drill bit in the hole, you have to get it out before you can continue drilling!!!
