deborama, I'm with you.  I need my morning coffee as soon as I wake up.

I always look to see if a resort has coffee makers in the room when I'm researching.
Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things you didn't do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.

I wouldn't think that the Palma Real has coffee makers.  Do you know the voltage at this hotel?

Hi deborama,

I am definitely a "coffee addict"..can't even get into the shower without "my first cup".
Most Cuban resorts do not provide this luxury (I call it a necessity).
I travel with my coffee machine everywhere (even to Vegas)..along with a container of coffee, creamer and sugar)...plus a couple of mugs.
Remember a international convertor..Radio Shack has them..voltage varies in numerous Cuban hotels.

 Talk Later.

   :)
he world is a book and those who do not travel, read only a page.

I'm with you MCB.  When we went to IV in June, we took one of those cheap, $10, Crappy Tire, one-cuppers.  It was great and really light to travel with.  :)

I'm glad of those Crappy Tire one-cuppers too.

I left mine in Banes so I'm assured of a cup of coffee to welcome me every day, as soon as I arrive.

Everyone knows the ONLY way to drink Espresso is with a good shot of Grappa!

 That's why it's called "Caffè Corretto" !

When You and Zephie come out this way, I'll supply you some real Home-made Grappa to take with you, so there will be no excuses.

Excellent...and I plan to take you up on that offer! ...in fact, both offers!
And since we're getting close to a decision on whether or not we should go to Cuba for xmas (more on the yes side than not...), that means I'll have to get out to see you before then! WooHoo!
However, I guess that means no floating around the pool on airmattresses huh?   :rof:
