Signature vacations
« on: October 15, 2005, 10:28:00 AM »
When I was doing my research for our vacation I noticed that Signature vacations were consistently cheaper in their vacation packages at the online sites.  I would like to know of any  of your experiences with this company --both good and bad. The reason I chose to pay a bit more was that Signature flights are with Skyservice and I have heard so many complaints about cramped flights, etc that the deals didn't seem worth it at the time.  I would be interested in your experiences and opinions.  :t:

We've booked signature many times.  It is my first choice if it's available at the right price.  It's true that skyservice is crap, but it's usually a short flight and then you're there.

In my opinion signature has the best reps at the resort.  We always pick up our tickets at the airport and with signature there has never been a delay or a problem.

My second choice is Sunwing, and my last choice is Sunquest.  Too many problems with sunquest, bad reps at the resort, bad customer service at the airport and delayed flights.
Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things you didn't do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.

I've used Signature before and there were no problems.  Unlike flopnfly, though, I have had much better luck with Sunquest that Sunwing.  I guess it depends on individual circumstances but our Sunquest rep. this summer did more for us than other reps from various tour operators in the past.  He went out of his way to not only meet a request, but came up with extras that made our life a LOT easier.

Hi Milli,
The best prices that I've found is on www.yourtraveltickets.com for departures out of Fredericton, Moncton and Halifax.  Also, www.thetravelstore.ca has pretty good prices - they have a "sun" something special but I didn't find that they were as good as yourtravel....! Worth a check!
