Hello BF54bulldog,

Cold is flying out of northern Alberta ...mid November and it's minus 28C and hitting the tarmack at the Varadero airport where it's plus 30C...system goes into shock..then you have the reverse process of going back home...system goes into shock again.Did this for quite a few years.

Real cold is waiting for the bus to go to work..rubbing your eyes "by mistake"..did it once and finding your eyelashes have "literally broken off" since it's minus 40C..

Quite a shock for me..being an ex-Ontario resident (Oakville to be precise)..to encounter the above.

 Are you feeling warmer?

   ;)

Hello BF54bulldog,
Know you're  working in the cold today..hope it wasn't too uncomfortable.
I do have to agree with you about "feeling" the cold in southern Ontario.
Found the humidity off the Great Lakes made quite a difference to Ontario winters ..at least we get a "dry cold" out here in the west so it seems to be more comfortable (to me anyway).
 Stay safe and warm.
   :)

OMG it is so cold outside and so windy.

I almost got blown off my feet right in front of a car.  The wind is gusting up to 70 kpm.  No trees down in the backyard yet, and it's a good thing we're not getting snow with this wind.

Well it seams the BAD weather has returned to our region today, and spring thoughts have been pushed a little bit further away   ;)

It's -10C here at the moment.

During the whole of my time here in Alberta the temperature has only risen above freezing point on one occasion and that was only for a couple of hours when it reached +2C.

I'm getting quite used to it now, hope I don't have too much of a problem adjusting to the climate of Cuba in a little over a week's time.

Expect Kimber is tanning herself right now on the PCV beach!!!!

the sun is shining here this morning, but it's cold, very cold.

Don't be so sure BD.  I put the patio furniture out, therefore it might snow again!  :D
