lol...me again, may as well answer them all.  Well,  if you can tear yourself away from the beach (poster card perfect beach I may add)most people highly recommend the Jungle safaris or the catamaran cruises.  The excursion choices are very similar to Cuba.  I'm not exactly sure where BP is but if you are near the vendors on the beach, walk past them and go down the path.  It leads you to a small town where there are more vendors (surprise) and a few small bars, restaurants and a grocery store where you can get stuff like rum and coffee dirt cheap.

Bulldog, if you're checking in tonight, I just wanted to let you know that we took the 4-wheeler tour and it was NOT worth your while. It was really a ride on a 4-wheeler through the countryside with few stops and very little input from our guide. We thought it might be a more intamite way to learn about the people and the land there, but we realy ended up paying for a ride on a 4-wheeler around the DR and that was about it. Not really much bang for the buck.
Gotta hit the hay now... TOO MANY MOJITOS TRONIGHT  :moj:    :moj:    :moj:

hi bull dog, if you can go to the ocean world i went when they were still building it for a dolphin encounter but it should be finished now and they were getting more animals and dolphins there are encounters with several animals etc.
its around 70 quid for dolphin encounter when i went 2 years ago.

also the catamaran trip was brilliant good food and some of the best snorkeling ive ever done much better than las year at st martin .

the crew are fab and 2 bosts go out and you have a massive water fight with each other cost about 50 uk pounds.  my only down fall is we got caught in a sotrm on they way back.  cant remember what company it is run by but the boarding point was the beach infront of the flamenco hotel.

 have fun

We went on it when we were at the Gran Ventena last year too. It was a blast!!!   :D

We went March for our honeymoon, we stayed in the quiet building with the small pool.  Lost a small fortune in the Jack Tar Casino.
