Sirenis La Salina
« on: August 25, 2008, 11:55:13 AM »
After way too long I am finally returning to Cuba.  I shall be staying at Sirenis La Salina for a week beginning 28 September.

Does anyone have the scoop on this resort?

Counting the days until this -----  :ham:

Congrats on returning Laura, and I've heard this is a great resort.

It had mixed reviews at the beginning but lately the reviews have been mostly positive.   :icon_thumright:

Laura, glad to hear you are getting away. It's been a while for you and you deserve it

I really want to hear what you think about the SLS. Like Heather said it took a bit of a beating on reviews when it first opened, but they seem to have worked the new resort bugs out and sounds like a great place.

I'm playing travel advisor for my cousin and her family and I've considered this resort for them, but would really like to hear first hand account from someone I know and trust before any recommendations

Hey we'll be in varadero at the same time :)

Thanks John, I'll see if I can find a bar and hoist a few for you!

Wendy, where are you staying in Varadero?  What dates will you be there?

Laura, we're staying at the Barcelo Solymar Sept 26 - Oct 3

You and the gang should venture into town one night and meet up at Calle 62, or maybe Josone Park for lunch one day
