Hey Everyone 

Was just doing a bit of research for me and the girlfriends upcoming trip to Cuba. We Are going on the 8th of June so not long to go  .

We are staying at the Iberostar Tainos in Varadero. I`ve read loads of reviews and it sounds great, really loking forward to it now.

I was interested to know about things like Organising day trips to Havana and whether its worth staying overnight, other day trips etc..

This is our first all inclusive holiday so i`m not really sure how much Money to take, we are on a bit of a budget but if someone could maybe give us a hint that would great?

I have had a read through a fair few posts already but as i`m sure you understand I got a bit bogged down with info in my excitement!!


Looks like a great forum and very helpful, thanks in advance for any advice members have for us. I`m sure i`ll find alot of answers trawling the old post but would welcome personal replys.

Hi Mahone, Four of us hired a Taxi from Varadero into Havana for the day it was 25CUC with tip each and well worth the money. It was a full day and for me was enough time to see Havana, while I'm sure for others it was not. It all depends on what you want to see and for how long.
