Ready to Launch for the New Boating Season!
« on: May 20, 2009, 08:33:16 PM »

Well after several weeks of nasty weather we have finished with the "rubbing compound" and "waxing" of the boat! The "anti foul" will be next seasons fun! The old girl shined up quite nicely and is almost ready for the water!!
Tracie has a new full-time position which will dampen some of our boat time, but still looking forward to a few days on the Georgian Ocean!!

    All Aboard Matey!!!

ps..( John and Heather.. How is the Foxy Lady Launch/WORK going?????)

   Cheers...F&T

Good to hear that all is ready for another season guys!!

John did the anti fouling paint on Thursday and the Foxy Lady hit the water on Friday.  The motor was immediately dismantled and put into the shop for repairs.  It needs a new impellar and a new starter

We spent the long weekend scrubbing the decks and giving the old lady a thorough face wash.

She is shining bright, and now all we need is the motor and then we can put the mast back on.

Hopefully we'll be sailing in a couple of weeks time.   :icon_thumright:
