when is your anniversary?

I know that Wendy was at the Sol and wasn't impressed with the weather in the winter months.

The weather in Cuba in May is fantastic   :icon_thumright:

The Melia is undergoing construction, but they say it should be finished by March 31st.   :happy3:

We are looking at maybe going away between now and the 15th of March and MCSM is one of the resorts I keep my eye on. (pricewise)  What construction is going on there??

Jammy the Melia is a really lovely resort and now that it's adults only, even better. The spa is really nice and the beach is truly gorgeous. May would be a fantastic month to go. I unfortunately was there mid November and the weather sucked! Red flag days everyday but our last day. VERY cool at night, pools were freezing (though I don't use the pool much)

It's a wonderful resort!  We enjoyed it and now esp. would because of the Adults-Only factor.  :laughing7: The pools are lovely; there's a swim-up bar in one.  The beach is well renowned.  As MoMiss said, the spa is fantastic.  Spoiling your wife there would be a lovely anniversary gift! The only thing we didn't like about it was that we smelled smoke in our room from neighbours.  There are no palm trees at the oceanfront; it's quite bare which is not the most beautiful feature.  However, it's a wonderfully long beach upon which to stroll.   You can also use the facilities of the Sol next door.  TC  :grin:
